Description
This position serves as the key point of contact in solving the most critical problems in a time sensitive manner, and provides a high level of product support, while maintaining the integrity of our products. Provides engineering support as well as product enhancements, participates in cost reduction activities in agreement with the stated goals listed in the engineering department’s long-range plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four year college or university in the Sciences of Engineering or eight-years experience in an Engineering field related to Lochinvar’s industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three years of gas product development experience dealing with gas combustion and electronic applications. Good mathematical, communication, electro mechanical, organizational and problem solving skills required. Good communication & people skills required.

Responsible for the management of personnel and processes in the areas of computer aided design (CAD), bill of materials (BOM), product maintenance engineering, technical writing services and assigned projects in support of the Engineering Department goals. Responsible for the coordination and implementation of product maintenance and cost reduction projects. Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering or like discipline and/or equiv. educ. and exp. Must have a min of 5 yrs exp managing CAD and BOM related functions with a thorough knowledge of CAD hardware and software, and technical writing. Knowledgeable of business practices for an efficient Product Lifecycle Mgmt (PLM) or Product Data Mgmt (PDM) process. Must be familiar with ERP systems as they apply to BOM. Must be able to supervise personnel,coordinate projects, effectively communicate in a team environment.
