Lochinvar Honors Top Sales Performance

Lochinvar Corporation names Ken Peters of Ubly, Mich., the 2002 Salesman of the Year. Lochinvar’s Salesman of the Year award is presented to the top performing salesperson based on percent increase in sales from the previous year, mix of products sold and excellence in customer service. Peters, who covers Eastern Michigan, increased sales in his territory more than 20 percent. Overall, Peters increased sales in every Lochinvar product category, including water heaters, boilers, pool heaters, parts and storage tanks. “I went back to the basics and concentrated on four critical principles of selling: motivation, perseverance, hard work and honesty,” said Peters. “I had great support and great product offerings from Lochinvar…I am looking forward to 2003 with a lot of enthusiasm.” “Not only were Ken Peters’ sales achievements worthy of this prestigious award, his activities and sales habits throughout the year exceeded the traits found only in the most highly successful salespeople in our industry,” said Mike Lahti, vice president of sales, Lochinvar Corporation. “Ken Peters is our Salesman of the Year!”
